Backyard campout

On Saturday night, Kyle set up our little tent in the backyard and took Aaron on a camp out. We put Lauren to bed, after she had a good bounce on the air mattress in the tent. Then we made a little fire in the grill and roasted marshmallows and had smores. Aaron only ate a few bites, but really enjoyed it. Then he went off exploring the backyard with his flashlight. He was getting pretty sleepy, so the boys went to bed.

Daddy read him some stories and told him a sort of spooky story. Off to sleep they went. Kyle had the great idea to put Aaron's sound machine out there which helped drown out all the noise. Aaron slept really well, only waking Daddy up once by kicking him. At exactly 6 AM he woke up and said "I want to go see Mommy." Daddy was SO nice and kept him downstairs and let me sleep in. Aaron keeps asking when he can camp out again. I told him to go ask Daddy.
