The kids had a great time at our Halloween party. The gooey eyeballs and the vampire teeth were the biggest hits! Then we had fun cleaning out the pumpkin and coloring little pumpkins. (Sorry about the weird layout, I can't seem to fix it tonight and I am too tired to try anymore!)

Bike Rodeo
A few weeks ago, Aaron's school had a bike rodeo. In our case, it meant a scooter rodeo since Aaron does not have a bike. During school they talked all about bike safety. Then, all the kids lined up with their bikes and one scooter, and did laps around the "course". Every time they came to the stop sign, they stopped and got a point. At the end their were able to pick out prizes. They also got to stop anytime and get a snack and "Wash" their bikes. Aaron had a great time, especially washing his scooter two times. Lauren even got involved pushing her stroller around.

Pumpkin Time
Last Monday, we took a trip to Bates Nut Farm. It was quite a drive and the kids were a little disappointed because the pony rides and petting zoo were closing when we got there. But we made the best of it. They loved the hay ride, but they really got into the maze and finding all the stamps. They each picked out a small white pumpkin to paint.

Cruising
Kyle and I just got back from our 4 day Royal Caribbean Cruise to Cabo. The kids had a great time staying with Nana. All went well, except for one huge meltdown from Lauren. Aaron was such a great big brother and really helped Nana out. It was great coming home to them.
We really enjoyed the cruise. It was nice to sleep in, order room service and just enjoy lounging around. We really enjoyed the service and wonderful food every night in the dining room. The ship was amazing. Kyle can now call himself the king of mini golf. Though our final game was played in the dark and with 40 mph wind. It was fun. We laughed a lot.
Our favorite part of the trip was the excursion we did in Cabo. It is called the Cabo Canopy tour. After an hour drive, we arrived at the preserve where we were outfitted with harnesses, gloves and helmets. Then off we went. After out truck broke down, we had to walk to the beginning of the course, luckily it wasn't too far. All together we did 7 zip lines over the ravine and waterfall. We also climbed 2 rock faces, repelled down one cliff, rode a Tarzan swing, crossed a bridge and waded through the stream. It was so much fun. The last zip line was 1/2 mile long and you went 30mph down it. I am so glad that we choose to do this.

Kyle had a head start!
I was not smiling when I hit the middle of this. It was the only part I did not enjoy!
