We had a great Halloween this year. Aaron even carved his own pumpkin. His is the one with the weird face. Kyle made the haunted house. Mine is the scary face. Lauren opted to paint her's. She did a great job and I will update with a pic tomorrow in the daylight. We enjoyed trick or treating, especially in our little neighborhood. The only kids are ours and the neighbors. The older neighbors were thrilled to have our kids visit. I think they only turned their lights on to see us! It was a great night!

Halloween Parades
On Thursday, Lauren's preschool had a little Halloween party and parade. They gave the kids the option to wear costumes or pajamas. Lauren chose her pj's. She looked pretty cute and it was so easy. It was neat to see her hang out with some of the other kids.
On Friday, Aaron's school held their Halloween parade. Instead of wearing his regular costume, he chose to dress like his favorite book character. Let's see if you can guess who he is.

Happy Birthday Sweet Pea!
On Saturday, Lauren celebrated her 4th birthday. Can you believe it has been 4 years? She is such an amazing little girl. She is the girliest little girl I have ever seen, and I often wonder where on earth she gets it from. For her birthday, she wanted to go get her toenails painted. So I took her to the nail salon where she got to sit in a special pink butterfly chair. She loved every second of it. I even let her pick out whatever color polish she wanted. Of course she picked a very sparkly purple! We did some new shoe shopping, then off to McDonalds for lunch. We spent the afternoon playing with the neighbors. Luckily they were able to join us for pizza and cupcakes. She had a great birthday and is loving all the presents. She got a bike and is doing great riding it. I will try to get some pics of that soon. In the meantime enjoy these.
