What's up?

Sorry it's been a while. Things have been a little stressful here dealing with lots of car issues. Kyle's car has been in the shop for 10 weeks. Normally, it would not matter, but I needed to get my car in. After having a tune up done, it is in worse shape than when I started. Cross your fingers that tomorrow brings some good news. And Kyle's car should be ready to get picked up. For those who don't know, I am planning a huge trip out to CT and MI next week. I am planning on driving my car, but tomorrow will tell. Otherwise I will be renting a minivan. My mom is flying out to drive with me, the kids and the 2 dogs. I think I have gone insane. But we all need it. The kids are super excited, if they only knew!!

On a happier note, today was a good day. First, our friend Ashley picked us up when I dropped the car off, so we did not have to take the bus. I really don't mind, but we have done a lot of it lately. The kids were much happier. They begged me to set up the pool. It was not really a good day for it. It looked nice out, it felt warm in the sun. But the breeze started blowing and poor Lauren was shaking. I had to bribe her to come out. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little warmer.

After coming inside, I sent Lauren upstairs to find a new shirt. This is the ensemble she came up with!

Tonight, Aaron was such a big helper. He has so much of his Daddy in him. I asked him to help me clean up a few things and he went crazy. The toy closet was a disaster. He was actually upset when I told him he was not going to finish cleaning upstairs because it was time for bed!

What Lauren thinks of Me

This is what the women who watch Lauren at the nursery on Wednesday must think my house looks like.

And this is why!

Drawings from Disney

These are from our trip to Disney. Aaron worked really hard on them.

Pluto (Do you like the red collar around his neck?)

Minnie Mouse (See the bow?)

Mickey Mouse (Who knew he had so many fingers!)

Kidsfest 2010

Today we spent the morning at Kidsfest. It was the first year they have put something like this on. It was a little expensive to go, but really worth it. The kids did great today. Aaron was such a great big brother.Everything we did, he asked for 2 so his sister could have one! Lauren made it through this without any meltdowns or extreme whining. And I even left the stroller in the car!

Lauren worked really hard to make some bubbles.

A true brother/sister moment.

Even messy Lauren did not want to touch this stuff.

Nice headband.

True Diva

Future rockstars

Decorating cupcakes and cookies.Lauren did not like the little marshmallows
so she shared them with Aaron.

I'm not sure who thought this was cooler, them or me.
They even got to check out the back and meet the EMT.

This lady hung upside forever giving the kids a ride on the trapeze.

She finally took a break. Lauren was not too sure about this until...

Look at that smile!
