I think we have a problem

Lauren loves her pacifier. So much so, that when she found two today, this is the result. I am not looking forward to the upcoming removal of all pacifiers. Anyone wanna come babysit???

Duck Duck Run

We went down to Lower Otay Reservoir this morning to feed some ducks. The ducks, at first, were not very interested, so the kids had a lot fun just throwing rocks into the water. We finally found some ducks, and Lauren was shaking with excitement. She could not wait to feed them, until they ran out of the water right at her. She screamed and ran towards me. Once the ducks hunger pains were diminished, they got back into the water to be fed. Lauren liked that a lot better and was much more willing to feed them. We had a great time feeding the ducks, throwing rocks, watching people fish and just relaxing in the sunshine.

Mud

This is what happens when you leave a 19 month old alone with a mud pie while you go inside to grab something. Aaron made the "pie" and Lauren thought it looked like fun. Aaron watched from above not wanting to get dirty. They are so different!

Happy Mother's Day!

We just got back from our trip to Las Vegas, I will write more about that later. But I wanted to wish everyone a happy mother's day. Kyle and the kids made me a beautiful card last night. Kyle and I celebrated early with a night out without the kids. Thank you to my in laws for keeping them the entire night!! We had to take Kyle to the airport very early today, he was disappointed he could not spend today with me. I am not, only because I was lucky enough to have him home for a whole month with no work. We all had so much fun doing all kinds of stuff.

I also want to apologize to everyone for their mother's day cards being late.

Mom, thanks for being a great mom and for teaching me how to be one too. I hate being so far away from you, but you are always there when I need you. Thank you for being Nana. I love you.

Phyllis, no one could ask for a better mother-in-law. Since day one, you have always made me feel part of the family. The kids are so lucky to have such a wonderful grandmother. Thank you for raising Kyle to be such an amazing husband and father.

And to Gigi, I know we do not get to see you as often as we all wish, but you are always in our hearts. Aaron loves to look at your picture and talk about Gigi riding on the tractor, walking in the field looking at stuff, and the weird chickens (as he calls them).
