Lauren's Baptism

Very last minute we were able to get Lauren baptized the last day of our trip. Having this done at the same church where Aaron and I were both baptized means more than words can say. This church is the one place that still feels like home. I never appreciated it growing up. I didn't get a lot of it until I was older. But my gramma never gave up on me. I remember standing next to her in the pew singing all the hymns. I really felt like she was there watching us.

Lauren did great. Unfortunately, she fell the day before and really did a number on her lip. Afterwards, we headed to the cemetery to visit my grandparents "markers" as we called them. It is a beautiful spot.
