I have been saying for months how Lauren will be my first ER trip. She almost made it happen tonight. We had dinner at a friend's house. When she got in the car she picked something up and said pretty. I just figured it was one of her toys or dolls. We left the house and 1 minute down the road she said "Mommy, stuck." I said "what's stuck." Her reply "Sparkly in my nose." Oh crap.
I had to drive down the street a little ways before I could pull off. I jumped out of the car and ran to her door and sure enough, there is something stuck in her nose. There is no way I can reach it. My dilemma, drive home and try to get it out or go to the ER. I could see it, so I opted to go home.
We ran upstairs and got the tweezers out. Lauren was not to keen on having them in her nose, but with a little bribing, she agreed. Whatever was in her nose was stuck. I had to find something to nudge it free and then was able to grab it with the tweezers. Crisis averted.
It was a painted macaroni from Aaron's St. Patrick's Day craft.

You are in for some interesting years! I can't imagine where Lauren gets this from...
Uggghh. I am so happy to hear you averted a trip to the ER! Pray tell, WHAT did you use to nudge the macaroni so you could grab it with a tweezers? Your Mom friends need to know!
I've been loving your posts lately...aahhhh, all those little fun tidbits a Mom gets to deal with on a daily basis. I love your sense of humor and perspective. :)
