Have you met my son Aaron? He is a comedian. His new favorite type of jokes are .... Knock knock jokes.



Here is a transcript from our walk home from the park today.



A: Knock Knock

M: Who's there?

A: Flag

M: Flag who?

A: Flag Mommy

(Insert absurd laughing of 3 year old who thinks he is the funniest thing ever)



A: Knock knock.

M: Who's there?

A: Bush

M: Bush who?

A: Bush Lauren

(insert more laughing)



A: Knock knock.

M:

A: Mommy? Say who's there.

M:

A: Who's there?

A: Flower Lauren

(More laughing)



I won't keep going. I am sure you get the idea. Don't get me wrong, I love Aaron's jokes. I laugh with him, for a while, and tell him he is silly. But at some point my brain just shuts off. It has to preserve what little is left.
