Welcome

So I have finally joined the "blogging" mommy craze. It seems like this will be a great way to keep everyone posted on what is going on in our lives. So bear with me as I start documenting this crazy journey. A quick update. All are doing well here. Aaron is getting over a sinus infection and Lauren is growing like a weed. She is sitting up all on her own now. It looks like it won't be too long before she starts crawling, god help me. Aaron is learning new things everyday. He is finally getting the concept of time. His favorite expression is we did whatever this morning. It is his term for anything in the past. For example he said we had a Christmas tree in the room this morning. He loves listening to his music in the car, thank god for Hullabaloo, at least I enjoy listening to it the first twenty times. Nika is recovering well. She just had her staple taken out. The vet put her on antibiotics for another week since her wounds are so open. She finally went and played with her new bone yesterday, that is a good sign. She is walking fine, but hates having to wear the cone so much. When we let her outside, she just wanders around. I know she must really miss Koa. It's tough on all of us. Aaron has handled it really well. His only question lately has been "Where did she die?" Kind of a weird question. I had to think really hard to come up with an answer. I don't want him afraid of the vet or hospital. So the best I could come up with is a building. He said OK and walked away. Guess it is was enough info for him. Wish I could have come up with something a little better though. We are getting ready for our vacation up to Big Bear on Tuesday. We are all looking forward to having Daddy home for a few weeks and getting to do some fun stuff.
