Our First Field Trip

Aaron's class went on their first field trip today. Both the AM & PM class are together on Friday, so 44 kindergartners and their 5th grade buddies walked to the fire house and then to McDonald's for lunch. It was quite a walk and the kids all did great. The firefighters were so nice. The kids got to explore the heavy rescue truck, which is like a giant tool box, see the inside of the fire house and spray the fire hose. Lauren even got to enjoy it all. The fire fighters even dressed up in all their gear and gave the kids high-fives so they learn not to be scared. Lauren was not having any of that. Then we walked to McDonald's for some lunch and then back to school.
