Just a quick note to say we made it home. The grand total was 6,662 miles. I have a lot to share, but it will have to wait until we are unpacked and I get some much deserved sleep.
But I will share a few things now.
First of all, did you know that a 2 1/2 year old can still whine in her sleep? Last night Lauren woke me up at 230 AM whining about getting an owie and "I want McDonald's Mommy!"
I keep trying to type something profound, but I guess it will have to wait until I get some sleep. I did end up with a flat tire in a hotel parking lot in Wyoming. The man who came to help me change it was an older gentleman who's butt crack was showing even when standing completely upright. So you can imagine what it looked like when he was working on my tire. As he changed my tire, I said a little prayer. Not about the tire or my car, but praying that my kids would remain quiet and not start pointing to the man's crack and asking me lots of question that I know I could not answer!
