We went down to Lower Otay Reservoir this morning to feed some ducks. The ducks, at first, were not very interested, so the kids had a lot fun just throwing rocks into the water. We finally found some ducks, and Lauren was shaking with excitement. She could not wait to feed them, until they ran out of the water right at her. She screamed and ran towards me. Once the ducks hunger pains were diminished, they got back into the water to be fed. Lauren liked that a lot better and was much more willing to feed them. We had a great time feeding the ducks, throwing rocks, watching people fish and just relaxing in the sunshine.

How fun!! That is too funny about Lauren and the ducks...it would scare me too!! And YAY for keeping a hat on her (how did you do it) :)
