We have had a busy week with Daddy coming home several months early. He will be leaving again in May for two months, but we are all so excited to have him with us for a few weeks. The kids are thrilled to have Daddy around.
Homecoming went much better than we expected. As you can see Aaron ran right up to him. He was dancing waiting for the plane to come in! He has a little trouble adjusting to having Daddy here, but we seem to be working things out.
Lauren was hesitant for about a minute and then went over to Daddy, signed please and put her arms up. All the way through the airport, he held her and she kept snuggling up to him. She is definitely enjoying being Daddy's little girl!

Ah--such a short video, but so telling. I don't think its just me, but I believe I hear your heart jump in your throat in the muffled background audio too. So sweet---I hope you are all enjoying each other and settling into a rhythm again. Enjoy.
